Stephanie Was born November 13, 1948 in Richmond, VA. She worked as a flight attendant for United Airlines for over 40 years. In 2000 she returned to Flight Attendant status and transferred to San Francisco. She moved to Napa where she met and married David Lamp and became beloved partners for life. As a couple they loved being with friends and family. They traveled across the country as avid NASCAR fans and collected memorabilia from all the races they attended.

A special saying was “Stephanie would go to an opening of an envelope,” which described her zest for life, laughing, and being with the people she loved.

Her loss is mourned by her husband David Lamp; sister Susan (Joe) Wegman; mother and father-in-law Joyce and George Lamp; sister and brother-in-law Lori and Sven Oja; nephews Ryan Cranston and Sophia, Stephen Oja, Scott (Christy) Wegman; nieces Melissa Wegman, Jennifer (Tim) Smith, Krissy (David) Onorato; and eight great-nieces and nephews. Stephanie will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.

She was passionate about animal rescue. Their beloved dog Spencer passed away a few months ago and will be remembered as her fond companion.

A Celebration of Life has been held.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Holly Cranston Memorial Fund or the Napa Humane Society in her memory.
